KOTLC Character Analysis: Biana Vacker

In this Character Analysis Series, I'll be analyzing the characters of my favorite book series: Keeper of the Lost Cities! We'll look at traits they possess, and how we can learn from them. All the characters mentioned below are created by and belong to Shannon Messenger, the author. This post is about Biana Vacker.

Biana Vacker is another one of Sophie's best friends. She manifested as a Vanisher, and loves to dress up and give makeovers. 

Biana is a lively personality, and always fills the room she's in with joy. When in an awkward moment, Biana will brush it off and spark up a conversation like nothing ever happened. She's that ray of sunshine that keeps everyone optimistic. Biana teaches us to stay positive, whatever the circumstance may be. She is sure to keep her friends from the dumps, and isn't blunt or insensitive while she's at it.

Biana is also a very determined person. When she decides she would do something, she will do everything in her power, even more, to make it happen. In Nightfall, she took on the two leaders of the Neverseen single-handedly despite knowing the dangers and consequences. She is a risk-taker, more so than any of her other friends. While some may dwell on a plan for days, Biana is the kind of person who would jump in it headfirst. This is not to say she disregards preparation. She can be very cautious, and never disregards safety, though when in the spur of the moment she'll take the best course of action.

Bian is fiercely loyal towards those she trusts, and her enemies beware: she is not a force to be reckoned with. She may seem like a prissy princess with her stunning looks and her love for fashion, but underneath all that is a strong, passionate woman. Biana is an inspiration to everyone, proving that anyone can like anything, and can still be an amazing person.

If there is any character in the series that I think would influence the young people out there most, it would be Biana. She is just bursting with energy, compassion, determination, strength and so, so much more. 

Biana inspires us to be the best part of ourselves. When in a moment of embarrassment, or a painful situation, you'll think of the conservations Biana brightened, and the pain she went through because of the Neverseen.

She'll be there in every moment of your life, nudging you to always be yourself in a pool of darkness.
